Our Services

Three ways to work with us, tailored to what your story needs

The Studio operates with strictly limited availability each quarter. We engage through institutional retainers, executive project commissions, and strategic co-production partnerships. Every engagement begins with a conversation. Pricing is discussed directly and is never one-size-fits-all.

01

Institutional Editorial

ENGAGEMENT

Institutional Retainer

BUILT FOR

African organisations, foundations, and development institutions

We partner with African institutions to transform their knowledge and impact into published content that builds authority. Your work is significant. The writing that carries it should be too.

The work includes executive essays and thought leadership series, flagship reports, white papers and institutional publications, and impact narratives that document what your organisation has built — developed from idea to published work with design, editing, and production support.

02

Executive Ghostwriting

ENGAGEMENT

Project & Retainer

BUILT FOR

African executives, public figures, and thought leaders

We develop the books, essays, keynotes, and bodies of published work your career and ideas deserve. Your thinking, shaped and written to the standard it merits.

The work includes non-fiction, memoir, and essay collections developed from idea to manuscript, keynotes and speeches written with precision and voice, essay series, op-eds, and public scholarship, and a sustained body of thought leadership built deliberately over time.

03

Catalogue & Publishing

ENGAGEMENT

Co-Production Partnership · Owned IP

BUILT FOR

Creative and cultural institutions, and stories worth preserving

Through co-production partnerships and our publishing imprint, we develop and own original African content. Every property in the catalogue is an asset that appreciates over time and belongs, permanently, to African creative culture.

The work includes documentary series and film development, narrative non-fiction published through the Storyhouse imprint, editorial platforms — podcasts, newsletters, and long-form digital publications — and oral history archives and cultural heritage documentation.

FELLOWSHIP

The Storyhouse Programme

A bi-annual fellowship for African writers and researchers whose work deserves a platform. Selected fellows receive dedicated editorial development and publication through the Boayen Storyhouse imprint.

Who we serve

Built for those with something worth saying.

We work with organisations, executives, and institutions who have important things to say, and who want to say them with the craft, intention, and impact those ideas deserve.

Organisations & Foundations

African institutions seeking to transform their knowledge, impact, and ideas into published content that builds authority and reaches the audiences that matter.

Executives & Public Figures

African leaders with ideas and perspectives worth publishing: books, keynotes, essay series, and bodies of thought leadership developed with care and precision.

Creative & Cultural Institutions

Partners in co-production, oral history, and cultural documentation, and organisations whose work generates stories worth preserving and audiences worth reaching.
